Of Saturday’s Conkon II.

Second part of Saturday went to Komikon 2008 (I have a question na may period sa dulo ng question instead of a question mark.

Ayun. Wala lang. hahaha.)

Beforehand, it really sucked. I had a ton of comic compilations inside my bag. I just told myself, ‘tsong yang macho mong yan hindi mo kakayanin ang simpleng paghihirap? Kayang-kaya mo yan, tingnan mo si Frustrum umamin on national television. Kaya kayang-kaya mo yan. Go go go! Ika nga ni Rufa Mae Quinto.”

I went there to support an unfunny guy, Lyndon Gregorio (bwahahaha). You might have seen him in a show named Single where he went drunk on national television, his date during that time was Asia Agcaoili. But enough about that, let’s talk about the Kon instead.

(yung stage talaga ang nipicture-an ko dyan pero since yung babae nagpose na parang engot. Panalo na din. Pwede kong isali to sa FHM!)

I won’t say much this time, I’ll just post a few pictures and put some unfunny (since ito yung theme ko for this day) write-ups.

And some apologies on why the pictures are dark, the batt went one bar and I wasn’t able to bring any extra batts. (butt lang meron…)

(that’s… uhm… I forgot his name… It’s Budjette Tan! Signing copies of my Trese graphic novels. So, I opted to buy it. Ang sarap gumastos sa kon. Syet. Maganda yung trese… nabasa ko na.)

(that’s Carlo Vergara of the Zsa Zsa Zaturrnah fame.

Nalimutan kong dalin yung Kiko Machine album. Bad trip. Pogi yan, pramis.)

Beerkadet yan. Si Jinky Laurel yan, yung si Sasha ng My Girl. Odiba, may artista kaming kasama. =)

–=+=–

The compilations were just heavy. I still love the Kiko Machine shirt. Thanks to the Beerkadets and Artists Den and to all the people whom I know and met in the Kon. Especially Stanley Chi (i’ll post something about him in a different entry. This is quite an interesting guy.)

And to all the weird people in the Kon, thank you for lighting my eyes up despite the rain and the heavy bag on my back.

(pero bad trip pa din. Naubusan ako ng battery.)
