:: x-files is luv ::

I recently (recently mean years in the making) got the nine seasons of The X-files. And I am currently watching the ninth season.

Now, I know why the fans lost interest in the franchise.

When David Duchovny started being a brat (or so what it seems), it all started in the eight season, and was almost invisible in that season, the show actually lost its charisma. Yes, we know that they brought in the replacements but what these new actors don’t have is the awesome rapport of Gillian Anderson and David.

Plus, the show got serious during the last two seasons.

In short, it got boring.

Simply put, you can’t just replace an old formula with a new one in an instant. Unless if it is quite obvious that people are getting tired of the same shit that they are showing.

Ultimately, I’m just happy that it ended at season nine.

Closure is important.
